I chose this university because Asahikawa is very similar to my hometown in China. I felt nostalgic coming to Asahikawa, which is in the same northern part of Japan as my hometown. Unfortunately, the population outflow from the region is also becoming serious. What attracted me was that this university is a new university with potential. I would like to use my learning and experience at this university to contribute to my hometown in the future.
