[Student's Voice]
◎ Name: Chinso ◎ Country of origin: China
I came to Japan after graduating from Professional Training College in China. I liked Japanese romance dramas and anime, and became interested in the Japanese language and culture. I remember being moved when I first came to Japan and saw my favorite cherry blossoms in bloom. I chose Kanda University of International Studies because I can study various foreign languages other than Japanese. I am currently focusing on Japanese and English. I am especially happy with my English conversation classes because I can communicate directly with my teacher. In class, we sometimes write reports in Japanese. I feel at ease because I can get support from the Japanese Writing Center at the university. Thanks to this, I have become able to read and write Japanese fluently. Kanda University of International Studies has excellent facilities and there are many study spaces that you can use freely.
In the future, I would like to try learning Cantonese and Korean, and also focus on interpreting and translation classes, so that I can work as an interpreter in Japan in the future. I would also like to be able to support foreigners who are coming to Japan for the first time.
