Inspired by TV commercials I saw in Japan, I studied broadcast arts at a Japanese university. At the same time, I couldn't give up on my dream of creating window displays, so after graduating from university, I decided to attend Tokyo Design Professional Training College. I am in charge of everything from in-store and out-of-store product displays to wall displays for an outdoor brand. I focus on the products that we want to promote each season, and I consider how to arrange them in a way that will catch the customer's eye and make it easy for them to choose. I always strive to create something that is beautifully put together, but also something that will make customers stop and think, "This is kind of interesting." I sometimes receive reports that an entire outfit I displayed has sold, which I find very rewarding.
