(1) Tuition Exemption System for privately financed international students
For privately-financed international students (those with a status of residence of "College Student") who are excellent in character and academic performance and need financial assistance, there is a "privately-financed international student Tuition Exemption System".
Exemption rate 1st year: 50% of admission fee and 50% of tuition fee
2nd year and above: The tuition fee exemption rate will be determined according to academic performance.
You can get up to 65% discount.
(2) Special scholarship for privately financed international students
If you pass the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N1, you can apply for the Special Incentive for Privately Financed International Students (200,000 yen).
*Students who have passed the exam from the year before admission to September of the fourth year
*Limited to foreign nationals with one of the following statuses of residence: “Student,” “Dependent,” “Spouse or Child of Japanese National,” “Spouse or Child of Permanent Resident,” or “Long-Term Resident.”
