The GLS (Global Studies) program at Chukyo University emphasizes student critical thinking rather than one-sided lectures. Many required courses incorporate group discussions and collaborative work. This educational environment fostered my ability to gather information independently, think critically, and express myself, while simultaneously improving my English and Japanese skills.

Studying at Chukyo University is a valuable time for significant personal growth. When I first enrolled, my Japanese language skills were insufficient, and I felt anxious about classes and research activities. However, with the support of my friends and faculty, I diligently engaged in my studies and basic robot programming practice, which allowed me to fully understand the course material, improve my Japanese language skills, and develop logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
