School characteristics

One campus in Kichijoji, small class size education that develops individuality
At Seikei University, all students study at the Kichijoji campus for four years, allowing them to build a wide range of relationships through interactions that transcend faculties and grades.
In addition, we have a curriculum that takes advantage of the characteristics of our one-campus structure and interdisciplinary programs, allowing students with different specialties to learn together and exchange diverse opinions, thereby acquiring a wide range of knowledge and ways of thinking.

● Kichijoji, where the campus is located, is a city rich in nature and where various cultures intersect, including history, literature, music, art, and anime.
● Students can learn in an environment centered around small class sizes, where the distance between students and teachers is close.
● A comprehensive university with 5 faculties and 10 departments in the humanities and sciences. Interactions can be made across the boundaries between the humanities and sciences.
● In April 2026, a new "Faculty of International Co-Creation (tentative name)"* will be established.
●We offer a variety of opportunities for international exchange, including various events, the buddy system, and Global Square.
●Seikei University provides detailed and thorough career support centered on individual consultations with each student.

◎Country of origin: Hong Kong
One of the reasons I decided to study at Seikei University is that I can study in a seminar format from the first year. I was able to organize my thoughts and speak in Japanese, and improve my presentation skills. The Kichijoji area is calm and has many stylish shops, and my favorite is a matcha sweets shop.

Get off at Kichijoji Station on the JR Chuo Line, Sobu Line (Tokyo Metro Tozai Line), or Keio Inokashira Line
■ About 15 minutes walk from Kichijoji Station
■ Take the Kanto Bus from bus stop 1 or 2 at the north exit of Kichijoji Station and get off at the Seikei Gakuenmae stop (approx. 5 minutes)

Get off at Seibu-Yanagisawa Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line
■ From the south exit of Seibu Yanagisawa Station, take the Kanto Bus (bound for Kichijoji Station) for about 15 minutes and get off at the Seikei Gakuenmae stop.
