[Student's Voice]
◎ Name: Maya Miyata ◎ Country of Origin: Japan
A friend from Shenzhen told me that Shenzhen is one of the four major cities in China and has developed rapidly, with companies such as Tencent and Huawei growing. I became interested in universities in Shenzhen and learned about the Shenzhen University Tokyo Campus. Considering financial and family issues, I thought that a Japanese campus that I could attend while still living in Japan would be the best option.

◎ Name: Soichiro Takano ◎ Country of Origin: Japan
It's common for Japanese people to be able to read and write Chinese, but not be able to understand or speak it. After entering university, I felt that I improved by being able to speak with native teachers and other students in dialogue-style classes. This is something that is difficult to achieve by self-study. Even during casual conversations such as lunch breaks, I try to focus on Chinese when speaking with friends.
