School characteristics

Everyone has their own interests. So if you can empathize with each other's interests, you'll discover new value.
【 School characteristics 】
● It is based on the Zen spirit of "righteous mindfulness" and "oneness of practice and study" as established by Zen Master Dogen.
● This is a comprehensive women's university consisting of 5 faculties and 7 departments.
● Each seminar teacher is appointed as a homeroom teacher and provides advice on student life, class registration, etc.
● Located on a hill surrounded by lush nature, the campus has numerous experiential facilities and laboratories designed for practical training.
● You will broaden your horizons through experiential learning through off-campus training, internships, and industry-academia collaboration activities.
● We have priority student dormitories available for Komazawa Women's University students (Rapport Yurigaoka).

【International Student Support System】
● Support for international students' academic and daily life is provided by members of the International Student Committee in cooperation with staff from the Student Support Division.
● A wide variety of courses are offered for each department, with the goal of helping students obtain qualifications. Comprehensive support, including preparation courses, is also provided.
● We offer comprehensive job placement support and have a proven track record of placing students both in Japan and internationally.
● We conduct entrance examinations for international students six times a year.
● You can also make friends with other international students.
● After enrollment, an "International Student Orientation" will be held to explain university life, various systems and procedures related to international students, and rules to follow when living in Japan.
