In addition, there is ample support for international students, such as scholarships and tuition exemptions. I live in a college dorm now. There are quite a lot of people who couldn't make friends during the period when online classes were held due to the coronavirus pandemic, but I was able to make friends thanks to living in the dormitory. In the dormitory, there are many opportunities to talk not only with classmates but also with seniors. When I was in the first year, I was worried about various things, but I consulted with seniors in the dormitory and received a lot of advice about course registration. Furthermore, I think that group living like a dormitory can foster autonomy, aggressiveness, and cooperativeness.
