●Kanagawa University is a comprehensive university located in the international city of Yokohama. There are 11 faculties of humanities and science and engineering, with approximately 18,000 students. The Minato Mirai Campus is home to three faculties of business administration, foreign languages, and global studies in international Japan. The Yokohama Campus has three faculties of humanities (law, economics, and humanities) and five faculties of science and engineering (science, engineering, architecture, chemistry, life science, and information). The international student dormitory, Kanagawa University Kuritadani Academia, is popular for its design that allows international students and Japanese students to live and interact naturally with each other.

The reason I applied to Kanagawa University is because of its comprehensive education system. The Faculty of Architecture offers courses that incorporate a liberal arts perspective and allows me to study multiple specialized fields, so I can gain a comprehensive understanding of both the humanities and sciences. I thought it would be an ideal environment to utilize the knowledge I learned through practical experience and gain new insights.
