● Kanagawa University is a comprehensive university located in the international city of Yokohama. It has 11 faculties in the humanities and sciences and engineering fields, with approximately 19,000 students. The "Yokohama Campus" houses three humanities faculties (Law, Economics, and Human Sciences) and five sciences and engineering faculties (Science, Engineering, Architecture, Chemistry and Life Sciences, and Information Science). Students in three global-related faculties (Business Administration, Foreign Languages, and International Japanese Studies) study at the "Minato Mirai Campus". The international student dormitory "Kanagawa University Kuritaya Academia" is popular for its design that allows international students and Japanese students to live together and naturally fosters international exchange.

I chose Kanagawa University because of its excellent educational system. The Faculty of Architecture offers courses that incorporate humanities perspectives, allowing students to study multiple specialized fields, enabling comprehensive learning regardless of their academic background. I felt it was an ideal environment to apply the knowledge I gained through hands-on experience and to acquire new insights.
