April 2025: Graduate School of Letters, Department of Literature and Language Education (Master's program) established

Our university has established the Graduate School of Welfare Society and Management in the professional graduate school, and the Graduate School of Letters and Life System in the graduate school. We have created an academic environment where students and working adults who are passionate about learning can cultivate rich academic knowledge in accordance with their goals and career paths.
The Graduate School of Letters has previously consisted of three majors: Japanese Literature, English and American Literature, and Language Education and Communication. Starting in April 2025, however, this will be reorganized into a single major, Literature and Language Education (Master's course), with the aim of further exploration and deepening research into the four areas of Japanese Literature and Linguistics, English and American Literature and Linguistics, Japanese Language Education, and English Language Education.

[Professional Graduate School]
The Graduate School of Welfare Society and Management will be offering a one-year Welfare Co-Creation Management major for working adults. We welcome working adults who have a certain amount of management or leadership experience in the fields of health, medicine, welfare, etc., or in companies or organizations, and who are also eager to obtain the latest information and knowledge, hone their research methods such as surveys and case studies, and acquire higher levels of expertise.

The Graduate School of Letters and the Graduate School of Life Systems Research offer master's and master's programs in a wide range of fields and a variety of majors, as well as a doctoral program in which students can undertake specialized research.
The Graduate School of Letters offers two majors, Literature and Language Education (Master's program) and Literature and Linguistics (Doctoral program), opening in April 2025, allowing students to deepen their expertise while also cultivating an interdisciplinary perspective by taking courses in other fields.
The Graduate School of Life Sciences aims to interdisciplinaryly elucidate the various problems in human life that arise in modern society, where lifestyles are becoming more diverse, complex, and globalized, from the research fields of life culture, human society, and life science, and to conduct research activities and develop human resources that contribute to the enrichment and improvement of human life.To this end, we have professors from a wide range of academic fields, including history and culture, psychology, welfare society, education, environment (architecture, product, fashion, design planning), and food and nutrition.
