■ Peer Support: Ritsumeikan's unique system for learning and growth.
At Ritsumeikan University, there are "learning communities" that provide opportunities for each student to utilize their abilities and achieve their goals, both in the coursework and extracurricular activities. In particular, "peer support," where students support each other, is a prime example of this. There are approximately 40 peer support groups, with about 4,000 students actively participating. Among these, the system of orientation leaders who provide support to new students in their daily lives, self-governance, and studies is a pioneering system that has become well-established.
